United Way of Central Iowa

The Principal Charity Classic has helped United Way support the Elevate™ program with the proceeds of the 2007 event.  Elevate™ is a group of young people who educate legislators, foster parents, human service staff, juvenile court professionals and the public about foster care and adoption.

Variety of Iowa

The donation from the 2007 event has been dedicated to the children of Iowa through Variety - the children's charity.   Variety services Iowa's children through various programs and activities.  Some of these include: before and after school programs, camps and shelter services, early childhood and special needs programs, medical facilities and equipment and mobility programs.  Variety has put together a slide show of their efforts for Iowa's kids.  (There is no sound to the video)

Blank Children's Hospital

Many children rely on Blank Children's Hospital for their amazing facilities and treatment centers.  The pediatric therapy department helps children with physical, occupational and speech therapy.  The funds donated to Blank Children's Hospital from the 2007 Principal Charity Classic have been dedicated to the Pediatric Therapy Department.  Click on the video below for a message from Blank Children's Hospital.

Greater Des Moines Community Foundation and

Bravo of Greater Des Moines

The Greater Des Moines Community Foundation and Bravo of Greater Des Moines are partnering together to "Connect Kids and Culture."  The 2007 Principal Charity Classic donation will help the program fund school field trips for every student in Polk and Dallas County.  Read Press Release.
