Spectator Tips


Autographs

Autographs are permissible; however, not during a player's round. Autograph items are limited to one per spectator on both Wednesday and Thursday of tournament week.

Bleachers

Bleacher seating will be available at the driving range and holes 9, 16 and 18.

Camera Policy

Cameras are permitted on Wednesday and Thursday ONLY.

Concessions

There will be numerous concession stands located throughout the golf course serving a variety of items. No food and beverage can be brought into the tournament. See the Official Course Map for locations.

Expo Alley

Spectators should stop by the Expo Alley for official tournament merchandise and to pick up some great items from our sponsors. The Expo Alley is a great way for spectators to learn about all the great products and services our sponsors offer. The Expo Alley is located near the clubhouse.

First Aid Location

First aid is located in the pool area on the backside of the clubhouse near the 18th green. IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY WHILE ON THE GOLF COURSE, NOTIFY A MARSHAL ON ANY HOLE.

Handicapped Facilities/Services

There will be a handicapped viewing area by the 18th green. Wheel chairs and scooters are allowed on course and they may follow cart path to access viewing areas.  Limited handicapped and elderly cart service will be available from the main handicapped/elderly shuttle stop located near the clubhouse parking lot to main spectator areas on course including holes 14, 17 and 18.  The cart shuttles will make periodic loops through these areas to return back the main shuttle stop.  If you need assistance, please contact a staff or volunteer marshal with a radio to call for a ride.  Restrooms are available near holes 5, 6, 14, and 18 and the main entrance. Inclement Weather

The Champions Tour will have meteorology staff on-site monitoring the possibility of inclement weather. If inclement weather is approaching, special "weather warning" signs will be posted on leader boards around the course. When the sign appears, spectators are advised to take immediate precautions (including clearing grandstands) PRIOR to play being suspended. In the event of a weather warning, please avoid:

  • Hilltops
  • High places
  • Isolated trees
  • Golf carts
  • Wire fences
  • Open areas

If play is suspended please close your umbrella and seek shelter immediately.

Kids / Youth Tickets

Kids 15 and under are admitted FREE to the tournament when accompanied by a ticketed adult each day of the tournament. On Saturday there will be a kids fun zone set up at the main entrance with inflatable's and activities.

Merchandise

The on-site merchandise booth located in the Expo Alley offers a variety of merchandise bearing The Principal Charity Classic logo. Other on-site merchandise booths are located at the Nike tent and near the 18th green. Some of the merchandise available for purchase includes caps, shirts, T-shirts, jackets, golf balls, divot repair tools, ball markers, towels and much more. Acceptable forms of payment in the Merchandise Tents are: U.S. dollars, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and VISA. Personal checks are not accepted.

Parking

All parking for the tournament is free and is located at Jordan Creek Town Center. Buses will transport you to Glen Oaks Country Club and will drop you off at the tournament entrance.  Handicap parking is available.  The handicap shuttles are wheel chair and scooter accessible.

Phones

Cell phones, PDA or other portable e-mail devices are strongly discouraged. All should be kept on silent and/or vibrate while on the grounds.

Players

Pro-Am's

Pro-Am's will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Celebrity guests will play.

Prohibited Items

The following items cannot be brought into the tournament:

  • No PDAs and/or other Portable Devices
  • No Noise Producing Electronic Devices
  • No Cameras (except Wednesday and Thursday for personal photographic use only)
  • No Bags or backpacks larger than 8"W x 8"H x 8"D in its natural state
  • No Cases and/or Covers (such as chair or umbrella covers)
  • No Signs, Posters and/or Banners
  • No Televisions and/or Radios
  • No Food and/or Beverage
  • No Containers and/or Coolers
  • No Pets (other than service animals)
  • No Lawn and/or Folding Armchairs- compact chairs are permitted
  • No Bicycles
  • No Ladders
  • No Metal-spiked Golf Shoes
  • No Noisemaking Devises
  • No Weapons (regardless of permit, including but not limited to firearms and knives)

Any other items deemed unlawful or dangerous by the Champions Tour and/or Tournament Security Personnel is their sole discretion. Parents with small children are allowed to bring strollers and diaper bags, if needed. These items are subject to reasonable inspection before entering and/or at any time during the tournament.

Rain Policy

If it rains on any day of the tournament, play will continue as long as it is deemed safe to do so. All Corporate Hospitality will be open every day rain or shine. The Champions Tour and the tournament staff will always keep spectators informed at the earliest possible moment of any changes made on this policy based upon situational circumstances.

Restrooms

Restrooms are available near holes 5, 6, 14, and 18 and the main entrance.

Television

The Principal Charity Classic will be televised on the Golf Channel.

Tickets

Tickets are available online. Kids 15 and under receive FREE admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Purchase tickets today!

Will Call

Will Call will be located at the Main Admission Gate. Will Call will be a secure way to leave tickets for use by someone else. Photo ID will be required at Will Call to pick up tickets.
