Tom Kite Commits to Play!
| World Golf Hall of Fame member Tom Kite has committed to play in this year’s Principal Charity Classic® presented by Wells Fargo, May 28 – June 1 at Glen Oaks Country Club. Kite has nine career Champions Tour wins and 18 career PGA Tour titles, including the 1992 U.S. Open. The 1997 Ryder Cup captain was inducted into World Golf Hall of Fame in November 2004. He finished last season among the top 10 Champions Tour money winners for the fifth time in eight years. Kite has shot 69 or under in 12 of 15 rounds played at Glen Oaks, finishing among the top five in three of his five previous appearances. View full player and celebrity commitment lists

Defending Champion Jay Haas Sparks Excitement! |

With three weeks to go until tournament play, Principal Charity Classic® Defending Champion Jay Haas addressed media and community leaders this morning at Glen Oaks Country Club Haas shot a 2-under 69 at last year’s Principal Charity Classic, winning the tournament by three strokes. He is a 10-time Champions Tour winner. Haas is currently ranked No. 3 in the Charles Schwab Cup standings with 692 points.
