Principal Charity Classic

The Principal Charity Classic is an exciting, family-friendly event that contributes greatly to the economic vitality and quality of life in Central Iowa.

The event attracts a strong field of professional players to Des Moines, including 2018 champion Tom Lehman, Bernhard Langer, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Corey Pavin, Lee Janzen, Jesper Parnevik and many more. Massive galleries lend a level of excitement that makes this tournament one of the finest stops on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule.

Best of all, the Principal Charity Classic serves as a catalyst in raising money for Iowa non-profit organizations supporting children. Since 2007, the event has contributed approximately $13.5 million to Iowa children’s charities.
