Principal Charity Classic

The Principal Charity Classic is an exciting, family-friendly event that contributes greatly to the economic vitality and quality of life in Central Iowa.

The event attracts a strong field of professional players to Des Moines, including 2019 champion Kevin Sutherland, Tom Lehman, Bernhard Langer, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Corey Pavin, Lee Janzen, Jesper Parnevik and many more. Best of all, the Principal Charity Classic serves as a catalyst in raising money for Iowa non-profit organizations supporting children. Since 2007, the event has contributed more than $30 million to Iowa children’s charities.
